Educational Video - Life of a Butterfly

Senior Parks and Recreation Leader Savannah Randall created an educational video about the life cycle of a butterfly. Savannah is one of our Senior Recreation Leaders that works with youth. We hope that you enjoy watching the short video and be sure to check back regularly for new content by our very own Parks and Recreation staff!

The city offers recreation classes, sports programs and afterschool care for local youth and teens to encourage creativity, leadership development and overall healthy lifestyles. Registration is taken online or at the Live Oak Park Community Center in person on a fist-come, first-paid basis. Prior to participating in youth programmming all participants must review, sign and sibmit a Code of Conduct form on an annual basis. Signatures for the Code of conduct must be from an adult with the child/children's name/s written underneath. For more information, call (626) 579-0461.
